Use Spencer's as dual agents to make them work harder +do this at no more Â£
Friendly and efficient service. The market in 2017 was the only reason why I rated Spencer's 4 star - so perhaps not their fault. Upon my initial call, Spencers were proactive in offering advice, not just answering my immediate questions. They supported us through the whole process and were proactive in contacting us with numbers of appointments booked, went through all offers in detail, and kept us updated with where our buyers were in the sale process. Dishonest - be very careful about the contract and fees.
While the original sales person was enthusiastic about selling the house she left the company shortly after I agreed the contract of sale, the manager then tried on multiple times to change this contract. He even submitted a bill to the solicitor that was more than 2 times the agreed amount (over £1,000). Getting the bill ameneded even though contract was complicated and took four employees at different levels. Last thing you need when selling a house is to be dealing with a team of 'scammers'. If this property had been mortgage the way in which they applied to the solicitors for the fees I would have unlikely picked this up and they knew that! I cannot comment on the viewings or negotiations with the potential buyers as Spencers simply did not do any of this.Customer Relations Team 10-Oct-2017

From Georgia guiding us through the valuation and setting up the brochure, to Steven and Elaine in the office who had sold the house for us even before it was on the internet.
